How can I file a cargo claim or check the status of a cargo claim?
If you are not looking to integrate Cargo Claims via API into your website/software, a cargo claim can be created and claim status can be reviewed through the R+L Carriers Cargo Claims Portal:

Customers may search using either a Claim Number or a PRO Number.

How do I obtain API access or an API key for R+L APIs?
To obtain API access:
- Create a MyRLC account.
- Visit the R+L Technology Portal signup page:

How can I obtain a Proof of Delivery (POD)?
Proof of Delivery (POD) documents may be obtained through any of the following methods:
- The R+L Carriers website (with appropriate MyRLC permissions)
- Customer Service
- The Document Retrieval API
- Configured document push integrations
If you are unable to access the POD, please contact Customer Service or National Account Customer Service for assistance.
Is there a sandbox or testing environment available for API integration?
Yes.
R+L Carriers provides a sandbox environment for API testing:

The sandbox supports testing for:
- Bill of Lading APIs
- Pickup Request APIs
Test API credentials may also be provided when applicable.
Please note that certain API functions and services may require access to production endpoints.
What is the correct base URL for the R+L REST API?
Production base API URL:

Using alternate or outdated URLs may result in:
- Connection failures
- 404 (Not Found) errors
- Timeout issues
- Authentication failures
Customers should ensure all integrations are configured to use the current production endpoint.
How can I obtain, reprint, or retrieve a Bill of Lading (BOL)?
Bills of Lading can be accessed through multiple methods:
- Using the BillOfLading_PrintBOL API method to reprint a BOL previously created using R+L API
- Using the BillOfLading_Get API method to retrieve BOL previously created using R+L API electronically
- Using Document Retrieval API to get scanned copies of BOL
- Accessing the shipment through MyRLC after the shipment has been picked up and processed
